National Science Day was celebrated in our school on 28th February, 2026 with great enthusiasm and excitement. This special day is observed every year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by the great Indian scientist Dr C. V. Raman. The celebration aimed to spread awareness about the importance of science in our daily lives and encourage students to develop scientific thinking.

The program began with an inauguration done by our School Principal Mr. Utreshor Athawale sir  assisted by Mr .Kiran Choudhary sir, Mr.Dilip Pingale sir, and Mrs. Swati Tendel miss .                      

Afterwards lightning of lamp was done in front  of the great scientist Dr.C.V.Raman photo . Then onwards Our  principal  Sir declare that the science exhibition is open for all.    

Speeches were  given by students:                                                     
          1) Miss Ishwari (in Marathi).                                         
          2) Miss Vanshika and Mariam(in English ) about the role of science in the progress of the nation.            

A character role was played by students:                                        
          1) Master.Ansh as Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam.                                                                                     
          2) Miss Shreya as Dr. Anandibai Joshi.                                                           

Afterwards a short  felicitation program was arranged for science teachers for cultivating scientific appititude among students . 

A science exhibition was organized where students displayed various  charts,  models and projects such as working volcanoes, solar energy systems, water conservation techniques and many more from std 5th - 12th std . Many students also presented interesting experiments and projects .

A  science quiz competition and essay writing competition were conducted to make the event more interactive and enjoyable. Students actively participated and showed great creativity and knowledge.

The celebration of National Science Day was both educational and inspiring. It motivated us to develop curiosity, ask questions, and explore the wonders of science. The program ended with a vote of thanks, making the day memorable for everyone.
